What is REIKI?
Reiki is a safe, non-invasive, natural healing method that touches on all levels: mind, body, and spirit.
It is evident that all living things flow with “universal life force energy” in order to exist. When it’s at its purest level, it becomes a healing force.
The body is a manifestation of human energy that affects our emotional and physical well-being. Disharmony in the energy field over time can cause disease in the physical body. If the body’s own energetic or auric field is out of alignment, the body will be out of alignment. The intent is always to balance energy in order to achieve optimal health.
A Reiki practitioner acts like a channel by connecting the universal life force energy into the client's body with the intent to clear out any blockages or stagnant energy in the chakras. This technique is done by gently placing their hands just above or on the client’s clothed body until they feel a release in the area. It invokes the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Reiki is used for many purposes. It can help reduce stress, anxiety and depression symptoms, chronic pain, nausea, and more. Some individuals may be seeking balance and harmony for their overall health.
Animal Reiki
Did you know that Reiki on animals is an actual thing?
It’s very similar to human Reiki.
The intended benefits of animal Reiki are pretty much the same. Physical healing, relieving tension and anxiety, alleviating fears, giving your dog a sense of peace and calmness, aiding the body’s natural healing process --- whether it’s a behavioural disorder, injury, surgery, or arthritis, your dog’s malady may benefit from Reiki.
